Gold Black Onyx Ring featuring a most ancient stone, known and utilised by even the earliest civilisations for its powerful energy and sombre beauty. The gold band, makes the stone undeniably stand out.

As our natural stones are derived from raw mined onyx and then cut and polished by our silversmiths, you may notice a variance in appearance in comparison to the picture as each stone is unique in its colour and patterns.

This ring was crafted with time and care, handmade from recycled 925 sterling silver and oxidized to add character. Each ring is then individually worn and hammered to give it a rugged aesthetic—creating the charm that it was crafted many years before its time.

By batch-crafting our pieces from 925 Recycled Sterling Silver we are able to stick to a 'cradle to cradle' methodology where waste is minimised in production, and most of our materials used are either renewable resources or already in circulation in closed loops⁠.

Our recycled silver is sourced from offcuts and waste used in industrial production. Our packaging is crafted from both recycled cardboard, and paulownia wood—one of the fastest-growing trees in the world, farmed specifically for production.⁠

I love gold and I love onyx.

I was immediately reminded of my college class ring of exact same design except my school’s monogram etched in the onyx.

The ring is too dated now for me to wear.

Then, I watched a Tic Tik featuring Merchants by the Sea jewellery brand. I linked to the website to discover the Godfather.

The size in my first order was a size too big. I didn’t bother to review if an exchange policy. I guessed my size again.

I’m now wearing it daily front and centre on my hand.

Love the designer’s story. I support young entrepreneurs.
