This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from merchantsofthesun.com.au (the “Site”).

Personal information we collect

How do we use your personal information?
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfil any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

- When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns, or to retarget potential customers).

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. Text Marketing and notifications:
By entering your phone number in the checkout and initialising a purchase, subscribing via our subscription form or a keyword, you agree that we may send you text notifications (for your order, including abandoned cart reminders) and text marketing offers. Text marketing messages will not exceed 12 a month. You acknowledge that consent is not a condition for any purchase.

If you wish to unsubscribe from receiving text marketing messages and notifications reply with STOP to any mobile message sent from us or use the unsubscribe link we provided you with in any of our messages. You understand and agree that alternative methods of opting out, such as using alternative words or requests will not be accounted as a reasonable means of opting out. Zero Tolerance Policy
Harassment, bullying, or discrimination can occur regardless of the intentions behind the actions. Positive intent or a lack of malintent does not justify inappropriate behaviour. We define harassment as any unwanted conduct related to a person’s race, colour, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other characteristic protected by law. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Requests for sexual favors

  • Other verbal or physical harassment of a sexual nature

  • Offensive remarks about a person’s gender, appearance, or personal life
