SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS
In the jewellery industry, achieving full traceability is extremely difficult. We strive to provide the utmost transparency, one of our goals is to be able to fully map our supply chain to enhance our sustainability journey. We understand the scope of the goal we wish to achieve and we will continually work towards creating a sustainable change within the fashion industry.
From our inception, we’ve been unwavering in our commitment to sustainability. Throughout our journey, our commitment has remained steadfast towards utilising recycled metals, employing recyclable packaging, and sourcing materials responsibly to the greatest extent feasible in our production processes. This is an ongoing goal for us.
how far we have come
Since our inception, we have proudly used 100% recycled .925 sterling silver for every piece of jewellery. Our silver is sourced entirely from industrial offcuts and waste, breathing new life into materials that would otherwise be discarded. From cradle to grave, our silver jewellery is crafted with sustainability at its core, ensuring that each creation carries the story of responsible craftsmanship.
We are committed to further refining our processes. We are actively reviewing our gold supply chain to ensure it meets the highest ethical and environmental standards. Our gold supplier is Certified Climate Active, providing us with gold we trust to be responsibly sourced. Our goal is full transparency, and we are meticulously mapping our supply chain to offer customers a clear view of where our gold comes from, so they can wear each piece with confidence and pride.
In our ongoing mission to reduce waste, we’ve partnered with Grounded to adopt Sugarflex Technology—a cutting-edge, bio-based transparent laminate. This alternative to traditional packaging materials allows us to minimise plastic use. All our packaging is made from recyclable or recycled materials, reflecting our commitment to sustainable practices at every level.
Our dedication to sustainability doesn’t stop with what we’re doing today—we’re always looking ahead. We’re currently researching mycelium packaging, a revolutionary biodegradable alternative, with the aim of becoming the first Australian company to implement this innovative material on a large scale. While we’ve faced challenges in shipping the bio-compound, we are committed to overcoming these obstacles as we continue to pioneer greener solutions for the jewellery industry.
In an effort to further reduce plastic waste, we’re excited to be working on an Augmented Reality (AR) solution for our free ring sizer. This digital innovation will eliminate the need for traditional plastic sizers while providing the same level of convenience and precision. By embracing technology, we’re offering a sustainable alternative that doesn’t compromise on quality or customer experience. Completion date TBC.
Our dedication to ethical sourcing extends to every aspect of our jewellery, including our precious stones. Sourced through our trusted metal supplier, we are committed to mapping the full supply chain by 2027. Additionally, we are working towards Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) Certification, further cementing our commitment to responsible and transparent practices across all of our business operations.
