Upon first glance, the craftsmanship is evident and it is clear this piece was made with care and intention. I love how unique it is; it stands out from the crowd and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.
Super sick looking ring, the weight on it gives a premium feel. The small details are the best part.
This is my second ring from Merchants. I love the attention to detail and quality of this product. Amethyst is my birthstone so this was a no brainer to buy. The silver is high-quality and the craftsmanship is as well.

On fit, sizing and exchanges
Brilliant quality and attention to detail. I got the wrong size but return process has been good so far. Can't wait to get the right size on the finger.
Love these! Had to exchange a pair that wouldn't stay latched but customer service was very kind and accommodating.
I think the sizing looks different to what I thought it would be from the picture online, it fits a bit more like a choker on me, but also that's user error for me not measuring, so please ensure you measure.

How our reviews are collected and verified
Reviews on this site are tied to real orders. The request only goes to customers who have bought the piece and had it delivered.
- The request is automated. After your order is delivered you receive one email asking what you thought of the piece. Nobody is hand-picked to receive it.
- Reviews are matched to the order. The review platform links each submission back to the order that triggered it, which is why every review carries a verified purchase status.
- We do not write or edit review text. What you read is what the customer submitted.
- The rating on a product page is that product's own average. We do not pool reviews across a range to lift a new product's score, with one exception noted below.
The one exception. Ring Club drops run for 48 hours and then close, which is not long enough for a piece to collect reviews of its own. Those product pages show the Ring Club rating across all drops rather than a rating for that single drop. We exclude Ring Club drops from the star ratings that appear in Google results for exactly that reason.
What to know before you order
Three things come up often enough that they are worth saying plainly up front.
Delivery times, particularly overseas
Our pieces are cast by hand in Bali, so the timelines are longer than a warehouse brand's. In-stock Australian metro orders run 4 to 7 business days, but the United States and United Kingdom sit at 13 to 22 business days on standard shipping, and made-to-order or engraved pieces take 5 to 8 weeks because they are cast for you after you order. Check the window for your destination before you order if you need a piece by a date. Express shipping is available on in-stock pieces and brings the overseas window down to 6 to 12 business days. Fine pieces need different handling to heavy ones
A sleeper hoop or a fine chain is a more delicate object than a cast signet ring, and it should be treated as one. Take earrings out before sleeping or training, and unclasp a fine chain rather than pulling it over your head. If a clasp ever fails, it is covered by our lifetime craftsmanship warranty and we will replace it.
Sizing
Ring sizing is the most common reason for an exchange. Signets and wide bands sit differently to a plain band, and chain lengths read shorter on the body than they look in a photograph. Does Merchants of the Sun silver tarnish?
Sterling silver tarnishes. That is the metal, not a fault, and it is reversible. Recycled 925 silver develops a patina with wear, which many customers want on a signet. Can I return a piece if I order the wrong size?
