This is a great option if it’s a gift. Just bring a ring that the recipient already owns and ask the jeweller for a size measurement.

MM is the inner diameter, across the inside of the band. EU is the inside circumference, around it. Both describe the same ring.

Order the US / MOS® size. It’s also the size marked on the rings in the Ring Sizer Kit, so there’s nothing to convert.

Wrap a tape measure or a strip of paper around your wrist, just below the wrist bone, where the bracelet will sit. Mark the overlap and measure it flat.

That number is your wrist, not your bracelet size. Add about 1.5cm for a comfortable fit — more if you like a bracelet to move.

TIPS FOR ACCURACY

• Measure the wrist you’ll actually wear it on. Your dominant wrist is usually slightly larger.
• Don’t pull the tape tight — snug against the skin, no compression.
• Heavier links wear shorter. A thick Cuban uses more of its own length going around the wrist than a fine chain does, so size up if you’re between.
• A link bracelet can’t be adjusted at home, so the measurement matters.

19.5cm is the length most men take, and it’s the single size on the pieces we make in one length.

Every cuff we make is one size. That isn’t a shortcut — a cuff is open, and the gap is what makes it fit. It goes on from the side of the wrist, not over the hand.

Measure your wrist the same way as for a bracelet, then check it against the cuff’s dimensions on the product page. The opening makes up the difference.

It should sit close enough not to spin, loose enough to move.

Yes, gently, with your hands rather than tools. Ease it open or closed a little at a time, holding the body of the cuff rather than the ends.

Do not flex it repeatedly. Silver work-hardens — a cuff opened and closed every day will eventually fatigue at the bend. Shape it once to fit, then leave it.

The most reliable method is the same as for rings: measure a chain you already wear and work from that. Failing that, measure around your neck where the chain would sit and add 5–8cm for where you want it to fall.

52cm is the one to pick if you’re unsure. It’s the length we pair with every pendant, and it works on most builds with or without a collar.

Thickness decides whether a chain reads as a detail or as the piece itself. Fine chains disappear under a shirt and layer well; heavier links are meant to be seen and worn alone.

If it’s your first, err finer. A chain that’s too heavy gets left in a drawer.

Check the bail — the loop at the top of the pendant. Its width decides whether a chain passes through, and it’s listed on the pendant’s product page. Heavier chains need a wider bail.

Leave 4–6cm between lengths so each chain sits clear of the one above rather than tangling with it. 45 and 52, or 52 and 58, are the two easiest pairs.

Mixing silver and gold vermeil usually reads better than matching.
